Konad Stamping

http://morenailpolish.blogspot.co.uk/ WOW, these look great! I love her work! How inspirational. Great to see the new Layla Mirror Polishes have multi uses!

So I decided to try some different combinations and created these 3 pops.

Blue special polish over Konad shining beach regular nail polish and pastel blue special polish over Konad shining blue regular nail polish. Plate M64.

This is an OPI pink polish with pastel pink and black Konad stamping. I had a pink pop and wasn't sure what to do with it. My husband thought up the pink stamping and I added the black band - a family effort :-). Plate M57.

I have also made some great fruity pops but am waiting for the weather to break a my camera is in my car - opps!

Dancing on Ice yesterday was also amazing - what a fab day!

Layla Holographic Images

Morning All

Daughter is well on the mend and we are off to Birmingham to see Dancing on Ice today so thats all good.

Today I thought that I would add the glorious Layla Holographic polishes images. Picchi has so kindly let me use her images which can be seen along with many more on her stunning Flickr pages and blog, these are well worth keeping an eye on for great inspiration; this girl gives me serious nail envy!

Amazing idea with Layla Polishes

WOW (click here) This has given me serious nail envy!

My very super Italian friend supplied my Layla Holographic images and her help is forever appreciated as he work is so beautiful. I also know that her Layla polishes used with Konad give incredible results. More on this on another post though,

The butterflies are laid over Mercury Twilight as below, It LOOKS easy. Will have to see how I go.

Konad Swatches and Layla Colour Chart

Well here comes day 2 of my blog.

My daughter is off school poorly today (nothing serious a day in bed will solve all thankfully) which always makes me get thing done, not sure why. Hmmmm DIY loss ends or Konad sort out; head or heart????????

I am a bit desperate to get a new Layla order placed as I have sold out of Mercury Twilight and Flash Black. I am awaiting them to confirm when the new colours are released and they always seem to take forever to answer any questions! I heard about these new colours from a CUSTOMER!!I have also popped on a couple of the new Mirror Polishes into the order which I am super excited to play with!

I thought I should put my Konad swatches on here today, maybe Layla tomorrow, decisions decisions :-). these picture are for colour reference only. They are not perfect by any means but give a true colour idea.

In the beginning.......

Hi All

It has been suggested by a very wise person that I start a blog about Konad and Layla to keep people up to date on whats going on. So here goes………….

Firstly I am NOT a nail technician and have no professional training; I stock the products and know all the theory behind them and love to play with them but am stilted by my artistic block. Saying this I remain hugely positive and passionate about what I do and my aim is to offer the best customer service that I can.

I am always open for questions just ask :-)
